Tsim sha Tsui hotel.  Sore throat and fever 23 Dec - Day 2 - continue fever, coughing, sore throat 24 Dec - Day 3 - recover? Buy dinner for Christmas eve (Indian Italian fusion. Actually good) 25 Dec - Day 4 - recovered? double bus to ferry.  ferry to AiA carnival thing in Central.  Cafe de coral for days... 26 Dec - Day 5 - check-out. Taxi to Lantao. Sun Villas. Fever + cough. Severest headache and colds in my life . Felt like my head/brain was going to explode. 27 Dec - Day 6 - check-up . diagnosed with flu. Continue fever + coughing + colds + headache. Semi isolation from fam. 28 Dec - Day 7 - continue flu. Have sore eyes . Can't catch a break. 29 Dec - Day 8 - supposed to fly back to Japan. But we're extending our stay and moving to another place . The adventure continues...

Picture this: a carefree sixth grader, yours truly, roaming the halls of Saint Louis School Center in Baguio City with my best bud, Kay. We were the dynamic duo of Grade 6 Section 5, conquering Washington and "Sipa" matches and mastering multiplication tables (well, mostly). One fateful day, after returning the radio to the principal's office (teacher's errand duty, ugh!), I decided to channel my inner daredevil. A mischievous glint in my eye, I took a flying leap down a flight of stairs (maybe a tad too ambitious - 8 to 10 steps, to be exact). The world tilted on its axis, and then... darkness. Pain, like a rogue wave, crashed over me. Nausea followed, and time seemed to stretch into an eternity. Turns out, my daring leap resulted in a classic case of a sprained ankle.
