Fever + cough. Severest headache and colds in my life . Felt like my head/brain was going to explode. 27 Dec - Day 6 - check-up . diagnosed with flu. Continue fever + coughing + colds + headache. Semi isolation from fam. 28 Dec - Day 7 - continue flu. Have sore eyes . Can't catch a break. 29 Dec - Day 8 - supposed to fly back to Japan. sige ikukwento ko muna siya sa inyo. itong prof. nato kasi, bakla... si badingerzi ay isang respetado at recommended na prof. dito sa UPLB.Isa siyang 5' 8" siguro na mga 80 kg (kasing bigat ko). di naman siya kaputian, in fact, negro at may warts na siya dahil 50+ na siya at magreretire na. sa una di mo aakalaing bakla. kasi nung inintroduce niya sarili niya sa amin, oo nga medyo mukhang bakla magsalita dahil may accent, pero di mo na maiisip na bakla yon kasi nga formal english nga naman dapat. tapos naging carpenter na rin daw siya somewhere, at balak niya daw pag magre-retire siya maging farmer nalang. o diba ok, mukhang lalake. nageenjoy nga ako pag nagtuturo si gago e, kasi mukha siyang frog. Ok, the gruesome reality is... nagsimula ito sa isang pinabasa niya na storya sa amin. Yung pasilyo 8. edi yon, binasa namin yung story. tapos nun, may mga pinasagot siyang mga questions sa amin regarding the selection. Then & Now: A Tale of Two Twisted Ankles 1998: Playground Peril Back in the day, it was 1998. Picture this: a carefree sixth grader, yours truly, roaming the halls of Saint Louis School Center in Baguio City with my best bud, Kay. We were the dynamic duo of Grade 6 Section 5, conquering Washington and "Sipa" matches and mastering multiplication tables (well, mostly). One fateful day, after returning the radio to the principal's office (teacher's errand duty, ugh!), I decided to channel my inner daredevil. A mischievous glint in my eye, I took a flying leap down a flight of stairs (maybe a tad too ambitious - 8 to 10 steps, to be exact). The world tilted on its axis, and then... darkness. Pain, like a rogue wave, crashed over me. Nausea followed, and time seemed to stretch into an eternity. Turns out, my daring leap resulted in a classic case of a sprained ankle.
