Ants and Needles

I was in Singapore - in a backper kind of place. Kay and I were waiting for people to finish using the comfort room so we could bathe/cleanup. Went to a place called "The Ordinary Bar". Forgot something and decided to go back to the backpacker kind of place. Kay said to meetup in some mall after. Literally jumped from the bar toward a bus (in one big jump). Bus was Korean though. Was already inside the bus when I realized I had no pocket money for the bus ticket. Too late the bus was already going for the next stop. Saw a local SG lady who had some money but didn't ask her for help. Decided to go down from the bus on the next stop. Thought "OK lang di ako mahuhuli". The bus conductor suddenly grabbed the neck part of my shirt. Saying something in Singaporean. Went off the bus almost crying while apologizing and showing him all my pockets were empty. Had no phone to call / sms Kay. Bus konduktor lectured on and on that I should have a career instead of doing what I did. Luckily a fellow Filipina (45-ish-year old woman loaned me some 8$ and coins?). The overall feeling was shame and a crying feeling. Then I told the bus conductor I was in I.T. He suddenly had a better mood when I told him that I just forgot to bring some money but I promised I was in the I.T. industry. Angry bus conductor was suddenly laughing at my accent and patting my back. Bus driver didn'y care. They then let me go.

When I was already near the backpacker place, there was this one last thing to go through. A place which had a lot of ants (with enormous needles on their butts). To go through that, you either had to climb up a pillar, or crawl. A lot of people were lined up behind my back waiting for their turn to crawl/climb. so went ahead. Crawling was not an option for me as a lot of the ant-needle-things were ground-level. I had to climb. Halfway through , a lot of the ant-needle-creatures were already clinging/hanging on to my feet - and legs. The ants that hung around my legs caused excruciating pains . Using my hands, I was able to shake off the ant-needle-creatues from my right leg. Pains on both hands and feet... But the left leg, it was harder to shake 'em off, somehow the ants' pins/needles were already attached to my left leg. It was impossible to remove them at that point. Pains started to go crazy and unbearable, so I just suddenly woke up. Mucus all over the pillows. Soar throat.
